COURSE AUDIENCE

An individual who is a certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt through CSSC has attained a basic knowledge of Six Sigma but does not lead projects on his/her own.

An individual who is a Six Sigma Green Belt through CSSC possesses a thorough understanding of enhanced problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control) model.

Six Sigma is a disciplined, data-driven approach and methodology for eliminating defects (driving toward six standard deviations between the mean and the nearest specification limit) in a process – from manufacturing to transactional and from product to service.

Students will learn the key principles and methodology of SixSigma, and the techniques and tools for effective use. Nations School of Technology currently provides two levels of Six Sigma Training, the Yellow Belt and Green Belt.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Yellow Belt: Open entry.

Green Belt: A foundation in statistics or at least one year of on-the-job experience as a manager of project-based activities.

The duration of courses are:

Yellow Belt – 20 hours
Green Belt – 35 hours.
