ABOUT THE COURSE

These NEBOSH courses will help candidates to develop the knowledge and essential skills necessary to implement health and safety best practices. Candidates will learn to identify hazards in the workplace, principles of risk assessment, gain practical health and safety skills, and how to implement a health and safety management system.

Health and Safety at Work (HSW)

This programme focuses on the basic principles of health & safety including understanding risk assessments and applying control strategies

Environmental Management (EM)

A globally recognised qualification for those who have Environmental Management responsibilities or anyone wishing to have a career in this area.

International General Certificate (IGC)

This programme is an in-depth course for those interested in a career in health and safety as well as for managers & supervisors with health and safety responsibilities.

Successful learners will be awarded a NEBOSH certificate of completion. The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) was formed in 1979 as an awarding body approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Accreditation which has a UK-wide regulatory remit.
