The Situation Awareness Specialist® (SAS) professional certificate training programme educates participants in the craft of situational awareness and builds and enhances the capacity to better understand and deal with the dynamics of random and potentially threatening events. The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of situational awareness, that will create a security culture at work.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to proactively create instinctive baselines to search and read abnormal behaviours and make informed decisions. Participants will learn how to systematically observe their environment and identify people and things that arouse suspicion. With this awareness, participants can make more informed decisions and take actions to maintain safety.

This course is taught by Industry Experts from Praetorian Executive Protection Services with over 20 years of experience in the Security and Military Intelligence field. Our facilitators have planned, organized and led Special Operations teams in multiple dynamic operational missions abroad, including time spent in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have also trained and mentored Soldiers and civilians in communications, trauma, situation awareness, self-defense and surveillance.
